Have you heard of Hasselback Potatoes? They are all the rage....sweeping the web, blogospheres and pinterest and they have been for about a year now.. They look super fancy but are really easy to prepare.

 This is your back to basic potato salad, the kind grandma used to take to her bridge party potlucks, the salad mom used to take to the neighbours BBQ. The no fail 'oh so yummy - Potato Salad'
Basic ingredients... potatoes, boiled eggs, mayo, chopped celery, onion,salt, pepper and bacon, yup, I said it B-A-C-O-N. Mmmmmmm....... 
Macaroni salad is an old stand by, a yummy classic for potlucks, picnics and BBQs. This is your basic creamy macaroni salad, no gourmet mustards or mayos, no fancy veggies, just delicious macaroni salad.
Plain & Simple. Even as a child I found corn fields mezmerizing, rows on rows of my favourite summer vegetable. I didn't grow up on a farm but I wished I could run freely through the stalks playing hide 'n seek with friends.  Sunday's menu is looking something like this....
It's the season and they are out in abundance, the DANDELION! I have to admit that I'm a hypocrite. I love fields of these little yellow beauties, I admire sheets of yellow along the roadside, I think they are pretty... BUT...and it's a big BUT...I don't like them on my lawn!
