These are wonderful - W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L , wonderful I say!
If you're like me you think candied anything is tough, you must use a thermometer, bring to a boil until the candied state, blah blah blah... This is none of that!  This was always in the rotation of cold weather meals when I was growing up. This isn't your usual shepherd's pie, it's pretty basic but it was yummy and filled our tummies and I still make it the same to this day.
 This soup is so easy to make and it's it's delicious! This recipe makes 6-8 servings and my hubby & I ate it all...I almost licked the pot it was so yummy!
