Here it comes! I'm not one to make resolutions because I've learned from the past,
I break resolutions. I do have a pile of projects to do and by pile, I mean I have alot of furniture pieces sitting in the garage calling my name :) So for now, I thought I would just do a little recap of some of the things I worked on in 2013.

the week before Christmas much of Southern Ontario was hit with an ice storm. Some people lost power for days as the heavy ice brought down power lines, trees and branches, we were lucky in our area, the storm passed right by us. As I headed to visit some family on a bright sunny day, I couldn't help but be in awe of the beauty Mother Nature left us.
*WARNING* it is extremely hard to just stop at one when eating these!

I feed my backyard feathered friends and in return, they entertain me for hours. I'm in constant awe of their beauty, their antics and the variety of birds that show up.
This is a Red Breasted Woodpecker, although he doesnt have a red breast. He eats from the feeder doesn't eat the suet like my other woodpeckers do, he's a beaut! Click on any of the pictures to enlarge them. I adore shortbread, homemade melt in your mouth shortbread.
