Meet my nieces Tayah (left) Teagan (right). Friday was a PD day so we decided to make it a crafty day, it didn't turn out as planned which made it even better! See what happened HERE
A couple ingredients in the crockpot and soon your house will smell like you've been cooking all day long! Recipe HERE
Don't let the name fool you, no one ever knows there are crackers in this recipe. Toffee, choclate, sweet & salty, who doesn't love that flavour combination....YUM. The recipe & more pictures are HERE.
Both my Grandfather & Uncle fought and survived wars. I was too young to ask them about their bravery, about what it was like and I never thanked them. Now I remember veterans all year long, the turmoil in our world is on the forefront of my mind, with the internet and media you hear about the battles everday.
When we moved in there was this yucky, wishy washy yellow door. I liked the idea of yellow, such a happy colour but this one was a downer and a very poor paint job.
So I went on the hunt for a happy, welcoming yellow and I found it! I woke up the other day and a nearby farmer was harvesting his soy bean field, that was 7am. I went to bed at 11pm and he was just winding up.
This is the table top I'm refinishing for a client.
This is a dumb table. The current finish won't come off. Grrr.......... This is the enemy...but I WILL win this battle. *sigh* Getting back to basics, a simple, delicious and my favourite way to cook acorn squash - yum. See more HERE
