2013 Ice Storm

the week before Christmas much of Southern Ontario was hit with an ice storm. Some people lost power for days as the heavy ice brought down power lines, trees and branches, we were lucky in our area, the storm passed right by us. As I headed to visit some family on a bright sunny day, I couldn't help but be in awe of the beauty Mother Nature left us.

There was a good half inch of ice on everything and it twinkled and crackled in the sun.

Everything was postcard perfect.

I kept pulling over to the raodside to snap some photos, the scenery was breathtaking and stunningly beautiful.
