Toffee & Chocolate Pretzels
These are highly addictive and super easy to make. I made something similiar a few weeks ago with crackers and they were so awesome I decided to try pretzels - YUMM-O!!  Let's get started!!

TOFFEE SALTINES,  this is what I made a few weeks prior, super yummy too, I cant decide which is my favourite.
Let me show you how easy it is to make the pretzel version.
Preheat your oven to 400.
Melt 1 cup of butter & 1 cup of brown sugar in a pot. bring to a boil and allow to boil for 3 minutes (this step is important!)

Meanwhile, line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with a cooking spray, apply a good amount.

Now put your pretzls down in a single layer, I used these but you could use sticks as well.

After your mixture has boiled for 3 minutes, pour it over the pretzels.

Try and cover the entire pan but it will spread as it bakes.

Now into the oven for 5-6 minutes, if you overcook it, it will burn...
5 minutes and they're done! Turn off your oven.

Immediately sprinkle 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips over the top.

I then pop it back in the oven (that has been turned off) for about 30 seconds to help melt the chips.

Then I spread out the melted chocolate chips over the entire tray to create a chocolate icing.

I sprinkle the melted chocolate with toffee bits

Then I did a light sprinlke of course salt for that 'sweet & salty' taste.
You could omit the salt if you like but I think it adds an extra dimension of flavour.

Now..... the hardest part of the entire recipe, the waiting.........
This has to cool completely and it takes about 2 hours. I wouldn't put it in the fridge as the chocolate will sometimes turn a little white. I put mine in my enclosed porch and since it's a tad chilly outside this will speed up the process. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Once they are completely cooled & set, you can cut them up, break them up or eat them right off the cookie sheet... OH YEAH!!
Betcha can't just eat one.... c'mon...betcha!
I promise you'll be making another batch real sooooon!
