The BEST way EVER to get seeds from a POMEGRANATE!

I LOVE pomegranates !!!
They are crunchy, sweet, they pop in your mouth,  not only are they delicious but they are a super food - BONUS!
I know saying "The BEST way EVER" is grammatically incorrect but I just need to get this point across - BEST way EVER!

I have been eating pomegranates since I can remember. My mom used to pick away at them sharing the fruits of her labour with us girls. 
My sisters & I all still love them.
Pomegranate seeds are called arils and these are tough to get at
UNTIL NOW!!!!

The BEST way EVER to get seeds from a pomegranate

I wish I could take credit for this amazing idea but I can't. I came across this YouTube video a few days ago and I just HAD to try it, it looked to easy and so simple. I was skeptical, I was sure in all my years I had tried every method and it was still a messy, time consuming process.

I watched the 4 minute video and had all the seeds from my pomegranate in about 2 minuted - amazing!

Cut your pomegranate in half between the stems as shown here. Loosen the edges og the pomegranate slightly.

Hold the pomegranate half in your hand as shown, over a bowl and tap the skin and the seds pop out.

YES IT'S TRUE - 
THE SEEDS JUST START DROPPING INTO THE BOWL!

You'll get a couple little membrane bits mixed with the seeds, just pick those out, they're bitter.

Look at it - empty, no seeds! No arils!

Headed straight to my mouth :)

It's just that easy, I love it! I will never use any other method.
No messy pink hands, juice everywhere, water...nothing but this method!
