Tender delicious fall-off-the-bone short ribs, that's what these are.
I serve them over rice drizzled with the extra sauce *wiping away drool.
Beef short ribs are available in most grocery stores and start out like this. I season them with salt & pepper and into a fry pan for browning.
Heat up some oil and brown ribs on both sides.
While browning up, start on your sauce...that delicious sauce.
Brown sugar, vinegar, water, mustard & ketchup = heaven
Transfer your ribs to an oven proof dish and pour over the sauce.
Oh that sauce, yeah I can't stop talking about it.
Cover your ribs and pop in the oven for an 1.5 hours, remove the lid and allow to cook another 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow meat to sit for about 5 minutes, this is when I cook my rice and I just use an instant rice. Use self control and avoid burning your mouth, do not try one right out of the oven, not that I would know it sears the roof of your mouth :)
