Nothing is better than coming home to a house smelling like dinner is ready!

This is easy and a guaranteed winner, it's been taste tested on a family of the world's pickiest eaters, yup that's right...
I'm calling Guiness Book of World Records right now!

This is all you need.

You need a roast with some marbling, I cut away any excess fat, the remainder melts while cooking.

I tried but I just couldn't make the next 6 pictures look pretty but I promise it's delicious.

If your roast is tied, remove the string.

Roll your roast around in the mixture, get it all good & covered.

Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low 7-8 hours.
I forgot to get a picture of the roast when I took it out of the crock pot but managed to get one before it all disappeared.

5-6 lb pot roast or chuck roast
2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 package of dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups beef broth or water
pepper to taste

Mix 2 cans of soup in crock pot with package of onion soup, beef broth & pepper. Add roast & coat with soup mixture. Cover & let it cook for 3-4 hours on high or
7-8 hours on low. Remove roast & using remaining soup mixture as gravy, it should be a gravy-like consistency.
I like to serve mine with mashed potatoes & carrots.

Bon Apetit
