Bird's Nest Cupcakes

So I made cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes but what makes these so fabulous...hello??!! The nests, chicks & eggs - oh yeah!

I just made 24 chocolate cupcakes, let them cool and started frosting them....
I am by no means a pro at this (you can tell) but I was so excited when I discovered this multi tip, icing tip thing-a-ma-bob.

I can make little birds nests with it...
Just squeeze out the frosting into the shape of a nest.

You can't really make a mistake...

Then I added little non-edible chicks....

Now off to the store to get eggs (jelly beans).

I can't stop taking pictures - too stinkin' cute!
