Thanks Mom

You Inspire Me......

   I tell my Mom I love her all the time, I call her & visit her, I give her little gifts  to show my appreciation for all she has done for me, I'm sure she knows how much I love her, I hope she does. I blogged earlier here about my Dad , how he has influenced my photography but now it's time to tell the world wide web about the most creative woman I know, my Mom. For as long as I can remember my Mom has been crafty & creative, she is like a box of new crayons, bright, sharp & colourful. 

   As far back as I remember, Mom has always been doing something creative. When we were kids we dyed Easter eggs, made salt dough ornaments, decorated pine cones for the birds, made cinnamon treats & more, it was never ending, Mom always had a creative outlet for herself as well. Ceramics....Mom painted, stained & whatever else they do to greenware to make the most beautiful ceramic pieces I had ever seen. Pottery, she hand made incredible Inuit people, children, elders, they all had their own character, they were amazing. This talented woman has dabbled a bit in everything, most recently, painting & what I love about this art is you could ask 100 people to paint the same daisy & you'll have 100 different results. I love her paintings, being able to see through her eyes is the most wonderful thing.

   She has done it all & her creative juices run deep in my veins, thanks Mom, thanks for being there for me when I need you most, thank you for your patience throughout my life and THANK YOU for creating, dreaming & teaching me, thank you for your encouragement in all I do, thank you for believing in me. I love you xoxo
