So here's the scoop.......... I worked at a Trade Show this weekend and the concession stand was serving pulled pork on a bun, sausage on a bun, chicken & rice soup or potato & leek soup. I opted for the dish that would least likely give me samonella, the soup. You know, these convention centres don't have a reputation for gourmet food, usually its the complete opposite, dry, bland & over cooked food. Well, this soup was one of the best soups I have ever had, it was rich and creamy with thick slices of potatoes, I've been dreaming of it ever since. Obviously I had to recreate it.
