A Milkweed flower. 
We need more milkweeds, they provide nectar for butterflies & humminbirds as well as a safe place for caterpillars to turn into butterflies.

I was under 5 years old when my grandparents had a home near Toronto but I still clearly remember their back fence was lined with these pom pom shrubs. I don't know the name of them but they were fragrant and beautiful and everytime I see them it reminds me of my Nana & Grandpa.
