I've got the itch...

So I wrote about cocooning and then thought about it, I've got to get out of this funk and turn this winter frown upside down. What better way to do that than visit a garden centre. 

Walking through the humid greenhouses, inhaling the sweet smell of hyacinth. Paperwhites and tulips poking through the warm potted soil along side violets and mums. I would honestly pay to hang a hammock and spend the day in there.

A pot of these on your cocktail table and your entire home will fill with their springtime fragrance

I just love having flowers around the house.....

I adore all flowers, I love gardening, getting down and dirty, just me and Mother Earth. Worms, bugs, butterflies and bumble bees, I can't wait!

My ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE flowers are daisies and peonies. The daisy is my Mom's favourite, I love it because of its simplicity and it reminds me of a big happy face! The peony is just my Nana, she always grew them, they remind me of her. Peonies have such a short flowering time, they are top heavy and attract ants but when they are in their glory.........they are stunningly beautiful.

Inhale....exhale.....soak it all in.

And don't forget to stop and smell the flowers.
