I know that going to the amusements parks, zoos & other attractions
 with kids fun but sometimes you just want to stay around the house.
 Here are 10 almost free ideas for backyard fun!

1. Clothesline Tent

Who doesn't love pretending they have their very own home. Secrets, games, plans and stories, that's what these tents are made for.

2. Movies

hang a sheet over a clotheslines, staple it to a fence or the side of a house. A projector, computer and voila! I'm sure someone you know has the laptop projectors or rents one, its inexpensive. get our the blankets, chairs and start popping the corn!

3. Picnic

Some peanut butter sandwiches, grapes, sliced apples, crackers, juice and a blanket. If the kids are old enough, I put toothpicks in the food to make it seem all fancy for them. maybe even invite a teddybear or two.

4. Balloons, balloons, balloons

Fill them with water for a fun way to cool offf.

Just blow them up to play volleyball, toss around or play pool noodle baseball.

5. Painting

Hang an old sheet, fill bottle with watered down poster paint, or just give them some brushes and let them go crazy!

6. Blow Bubbles

7. Camping

I used to feel so grown up camping in the backyard, just my sisters and I giggling the night away. Have a camping party, invite a few friends.

8. Bonfire

Smores, marshamallows, hotdogs it's so much fun cooking over an open fire. Tell stories, have a sing along, make memories. Check your bylaws first and practice fire safety.

9. Treasure Hunt

Create a simple scavenger hunt with items you have around the house.. Kids of all ages love this! i've done this with younger children who can't yet read, I just draw a picture of what they need to find.

10. Run through the sprinkler

Water is just fun on a hot sunny day. Put out a sprinkler, or a couple buckets of water. i remember my dad filling his canoe for us to play in.....those were the days!

           Let the fun begin !!!!!
