Kristine at The Painted Hive made these !! Can you believe it?
These are just so awesome I had to share. Here easy to follow tutorial can be found right HERE. Look at them, aren't they mesmerizing?
I love glittery things and I was thinking of a fun, quick easy and super satisfying craft I could do with my nieces. Here it is...and these are awesome! The lovely ladies at Pretty Providence put together this great inspiration for DIY Ottomans. Doesn't everyone love a place to rest your weary feet?
Click on the photo to see the DIYs but while you're there, check out their 'frugal lifestyle blog'. Chalk is everywhere these days and I'm really diggin' the look but for this is wanted something a littler more permanent.
Say 'hi' to the sisters, the 'twins' I called them.
These girls were is need of a magical makeover. Their seats were flat, the fabric was -ummmm GROSS, dirty, smelly, yucky! I wanted to make them pretty again, they did have pretty lines. This was found at a church garage sale, the masking tape on it said "in need of love"...well here I am, it was fate! I so excited to get going on it that I started painting it before I got a photo. Notice my random technique? I little paint here, a little there...
I am lucky enough to have 2 ReStores and many thrift stores all within 15-30 minutes away, so I frequent them about once a week. It makes me happy to just browse them, most times leaving empty handed. One day while at the ReStore, this pretty lady practically stuck out her leg to trip me. I mean...look at her, all fancy, all pretty....how could I resist?
