Button Art - Horse

I I just love crafting with my niece and this was perfect project for a horse lovin' 10 year old and the results are wonderful and she was so excited to sho it off to everyone!

We only needed a few items and picked them all up from the dollar store. Purple buttons & a canvas, I had glue and purple paint in my stash.

We just google search 'horse silhouette' found one we liked, eye-balled it and drew it in pencil free hand onto the canvas. She then painted the horse purple, the idea behind this is that you won't notice the gaps between the buttons as much if you paint the silhouette the button colour. After the paint had completely dried she applied glue in small areas (so it doesn't dry) and applied the buttons in random sizes to the purple area. Once done allow to dry completely and you're done.
