Wooden Growth Stick I've seen knock off versions floating around the internet and I knew I could do it. My Version $ 2.00 for the board + $ 4.00 Sharpie paint+ everything else I had on hand = under $10.00 !!!!! Pottery Barn = $99.99  I created the art in the above photo & I have added a tutorial but I wanted to share what inspired me & drum roll......... here it is.  Back in the summer my nieces & I made these super easy, very pretty suncatchers. I made these with a non-stop talking, bubbly 7 year old fashionista & a 10 year old whos creative brain is busting at the seams, she has a purpose for every little piece of paper, stone & bottle cap she collects. From start to finish, not including Mr Freezie breaks & the occassional dip in the pool, this project was completed in about 2 hours......we talked alot while stringing beads.
