Look at them, aren't they mesmerizing? I love glittery things and I was thinking of a fun, quick easy and super satisfying craft I could do with my nieces. Here it is...and these are awesome! We gathered up some glitter nail polish, glitter glue, those flat glassy thing-a-ma-bobs, regular glue and magnets. I had everything in my stash except for the magnets. Check out these magnets 18 for $1.00 and they come attached to a handy dandy circular piece of metal, more on that later. We flipped all the little glass pebbles over so that the flat side was up and then started painted the with the nail polish and spreading on the glitter glue. My 8 year old niece and I unanimously agreed that the nail polish had more glitter power and we both wanted more glitter. We went for a bike ride while they were drying, about an hour. I then attached the magnets with glue, a super strong glue from the dollar store. They are so pretty just like this. We let the magnets dry for about 15 minutes or so, depends on the glue. Wooohoooo - finally on the fridge!! Can I give some to nana? Can I give some to my teacher? Can I give them to my friends at my birthday party? These impressed an 8 year old so much that she wants to give them to her friends, how cool is that? Oh and remember that little round piece of metal that came with the magnets? Hello ! it makes these little gems perfect presents. Now back to that little circular piece of metal that came with the magnets. They make the perfect little magnet holder when giving them as gifts or as my nieces said "Ooooo...I should sell these!" Glittery magnets are great and all but this just put me over the top in AWESOME AUNTIE category. Bull-Ya!! The dragonfly magnets we painted last year are passe now, they even had some glitter on them...but not as much as THESE DO !!! Super easy project, now go have fun!!
