Spray Painting

Spray paint is amazing. I love that it can easily transform items and bring them up to date. The colours and finishes available now are incredible.

I've had this headboard for years now, the colour is forest green, great for the 90's but this is 2013 and I wanted something a little more stylish. Metal headboards similar to this but new cost around $200.00 but a can of spray paint is between $5-$10.

It took 2.5 cans to cover the green and the end result is gorgeous!

For under $15 a complete transformation!
Enough paint left to do a couple lamps.

I bought a pair of these brass finish lamps at the thrift store $2.99 each,
 a steal. I sprayed them with the remaining paint and voila!

I bought some new shades for $8 each, this pair of lamps redone cost me around $25 - woohooo!!

Now I'm looking around the house wondering - what else can I paint?
