I love all vegetables, everything, oh except peas, man-o-man I do not like peas but asparagus - yummm and it's now in season.This method of cooking is super fast, super easy and oh so delicious.
Firstly I cut the woody ends off the asparagus, to hard to chew.
Then I drizzle lightly with olive oil....
Generously season with salt & pepper. I;m not usually a salt person but you do need it on these as it just enhances the flavour. Sometimes at this point I'll add some grated parmesan cheese, today I went au natural.
Now put them on the grill. i don't use a fancy veggie backet or anything, I just lay them right on the grates.
I cook them for about 3 minutes or so, I like them al dente, can you even use that word with asparagus or is it just for pasta? I like them so they still have a little crunch, a little bite to them.
All done & delicious and I ate them all myself.
