Sometimes I struggle when deciding what colour to paint furniture to sell but not this time! I was surfing through Pinterest (don't we all?) when I found a 'pin' of this beautiful Tiffany gift box.
One of my clients is doing a huge renovation, adding a large walk in closet, re-configuring their ensuite bathroom and more. When they told me they were thinking about getting a new bedroom suite, I said -what?
Paint your furniture, it's solid oak, Canadian made and weighs a ton, go for it, and they did! Sometimes just changing out the knobs on furniture will make a huge difference but this required a makeover and I was happy to help! i wondered, who invented spray paint, because I love them! I googled it and this is what i found out.... you learn something new everyday!
I bought these 3 cutting boards, for some reason, a long long time ago and I'm embarrassed to admit how long they've been sitting in my craft bin. I'm sure at the time I had good intentions, creative juices flowing and all but that was many moons ago.
I saw this idea on Pinterest and I have been obsessed with doing it ever since.
All my jewelry was either on my dresser, in my dresser, on my lamps, in bowls, basically it was everywhere! So I got this beat up dresser, beautiful maple, dovetailed drawers and boy oh boy this baby needed some lovin'. Big time lovin!
On a recent trip to Michigan, my sister and I went to Hobby Lobby (how can you not?) and came across this amazing metal ribbon.
I picked up these 3 drawers at an antique market about a year ago and I had a vision for them. It took me over a year to finally get to them but I did and I LOVE THEM!
