Girly Bedding

From the Urban Dictionary  - GIRLY : An adjective that describes the sort of girl whose favourite colour is pink and isn't afraid to flaunt it through her line of clothing. She is stereotyped with wearing long hair, skirts/dresses and that sorta girly stuff.

The great thing about the internet is that it opens up the entire world, everything is at your fingertips. The bad thing about the internet is that you can waste away a day doing a Google search for 'spring flowers' that takes you to many directions  'African Flowers' to 'Edible Flowers' to 
'New Bedding with Flowers'.

I have no idea how I ending up on this cute wedsite called Caden Lane but I ened up browsing their online store, Hmmm who could I buy this for?

I wanted to be a little girl again, look at the patterns, the colours the
 fab-u-lous-ness of them. I think what draws me in is the mix of patterns and those cheery, bright colours.

When my youngest sister was born my middle sister and myself had to share a room for a couple years. My middle sister and I went to my Nana & Grandpas for the weekend and when we can back Mom had redone our room. To me, it was awesome - half the room was pink (my favourite colour back then) and the other half was purple (sister's favourite colour to this day). Exact same wallpaper one pink, one purple flanking opposite walls in the room, new bedding in chennile, mine pink, hers purple, are you seeing a theme here?

When I hit my tween years Mom decided my younger sisters could now share a room and me, being a young woman, would get my own space.
I LOVED this room, imagine an ivory satin bedspread, rose wall paper, rose covered carpeting, red & white dresser and a red velvet headboard.
Yup folks the mid 70's.

These aren't the exact items that were in my dream bedroom but pretty darn close. I think I need to pull out my camera and take more pictures of interiors. How many times have you looked at an old photo of your family blowing out birthday candles and you say "OMG, I remember that wallpaper"
