When I look out my kitchen window, the sun is beaming through the golden leaves still clinging to the trees. The shadows are dancing and the birds are chirping. Chubby cheeked squirrels & chipmunks are digging through the leaves for their winter stash and fighting the blue jays for the peanuts I've put out. One step otside and brrrrrrrr..... there's a chill in the air today that's not the crisp autumn air I love, it's a bone chilling chill. I know its November but it's too early for winter, as you can see, we have leaves to rake, LOTS of leaves to rake! Lots and lots of leaves. Raking is on next weekends 'to do' list. - UGH! Maybe we'll just blow them all down the hill. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a few more warm days and no snow until December. I hpe Mother Nature is listening.
